The Committee on Culture and Spirituality recommends that the Parliament adopts the Bill "On the Concept of State Language Policy in Ukraine" as a Basis

The Bill (Reg. No.3220) ratifies the concept of State language policy that defines basic principles of use, development and protection of State language. The concept also includes regulations concerning safeguards of realization of citizens´ rights regarding both use of the State language, and languages of the national minorities of Ukraine.

The People´s Deputies deems necessary to draft the Bill for the Second Reading. It is also necessary to unify the terminology and coordinate its regulations.
